Lumbar spine C-arm
Learn what you are looking at on fluoro. Patient prone, L1 to S1. Hover the image to name each structure, follow the guided Learn mode, or move the C-arm yourself and take a shot. Count your shots: every one is dose.
BetaImages are computed from a real CT for teaching. Education only, not for clinical use.
Best on a desktop or laptop. On a phone it runs, but slowly and with a small image.

Segmentation: Bone and organ masks made by running the TotalSegmentator tool (open 'total' task, code and weights Apache-2.0; Wasserthal J, et al. Radiol Artif Intell. 2023;5(5):e230024, doi:10.1148/ryai.230024) on this CT. Changes: Cropped to L1 to S1, table removed, colonography gas in the bowel filled with soft tissue and tagged bowel contents capped, denoised and sharpened in bone, resampled, quantised; teaching regions added (see processing).
Display: standard fluoro shows bone and metal dark (more photons = brighter); tick Invert for radiograph style. Tilt is the beam direction: cranial means the beam travels toward the head. Press ? in the simulator for keyboard shortcuts. Anatomy regions are approximate teaching zones derived from the CT segmentation. Education only.
